Seasonal highlights: March – April – Daffodils, Cherry Blossom Trees, Magnolia Trees, Japanese Quince. May – July – Bluebells, Wisteria, Clematis, Lavender, Hydrangeas, Blue Iris, Geraniums. Roses can be seen from May – November across the gardens. Woodland has a variety of trees including Beech, Oak, Scots Pine, Sycamore, Sweet Chestnut, Sorbas, Maple. Our chefs enjoy picking their own herbs from our courtyard herb garden; sorrel, mint, chives, thyme, sage and a bay tree.
Seasonal Highlights June roses – Mottisfont is to the world-famous National Collection of old fashioned roses, flowering once a year in June. Late September – early November: home to many magnificent trees, Mottisfont is bathed in red, gold and orange every autumn. December – January: the perfect months to experience Mottisfont’s vibrant winter gardens, planted with bright stems and winter-flowering shrubs.

Seasonal Highlights Wildflower Meadow throughout Spring and early summer, many ancient varieties of wildflower including orchids. Historic Roses in June many dating from the Eighteenth Century Historic Apples in September/October- again many varieties not commonly grown today.
